¡@The Common Kingfisher is mainly blue-green,with an orange-red breast and belly.Its back and tail are shiny blue.It is a very beautiful bird,about 17cm long.This is the most common-and the samllest-kingfisher in Hong Kong.
¡@Common Kingfishers live near water,as they mainly feed by catching fish.They usually nest in holes in stream banks or pond bunds.Firstly ,they dig a tunnel through the soil and then builds their nest at the far end ,using fish bones for cushioning.The eggs look like ping-pong balls.¡@¡@¸ê®Æ¡Gº®Å@¸p
