 女騎士跨騎於一奔騰的馬上,是三彩中極罕見的造型。馬四蹄騰空作急速奔馳狀,兩前腿與後腿各向前後伸展,幾乎成一條直線,極具動感,並寓動於靜,給人留下無限遐想。騎手圓臉盤,面帶微笑,長髮中分,髮辮盤於腦兩側,呈丫髻,英姿勃發。表現出少女縱馬馳騁、無拘無束、天真爛漫的情狀。是盛唐時期三彩馬俑中的傑作。

 A female rider straddling a sprinting horse is a rare subject for a sancai piece. Here, the horse is in mid-air – all four legs are off the ground, its two forelimbs stretched to the front, its hind legs extended to the back – in a sprinting stance that renders the horse virtually horizontal. It presents an almost haunting image of stillness in motion. For her part, the rider sits on the saddle with her body leaning slightly to the right. She has a round, smiling face; her hair is parted in the middle and her plaits are coiled into two buns on either side of her head. This picture of a carefree young lady, galloping to wherever her heart takes her, expresses the sweet innocence of youth. This figurine is an excellent example of sancai ware from the Tang dynasty.   ■資料:香港歷史博物館
