故人江海別，幾度隔山川。
乍見翻疑夢，相悲各問年。
孤燈寒照雨，深竹暗浮煙。
更有明朝恨，離杯惜共傳。
My friend we've been parted by streams and sea
Often mountains stood between you and me
To meet so suddenly seems like a dream
What's your age, we ask each other with pain
A lonely lamp shines coldly on the rain
Deep in the bamboo grove mists rise and beam
Other sadness will fall on us tomorrow
So with this parting wine let's drown our sorrow
