英文動詞後應該用 “infinitive” (原形動詞) 還是 “gerund” (動名詞)是很多同學都弄不清的問題。看看下列舉例，試找出其中錯誤：
1.My friends enjoy to drink beer in that pub.
2.I suggest to watch a film tonight.
3.I promised my mother working hard.
4.My teacher always helps me correcting my mistakes.
頭兩句都錯用了 “infinitive”，正確寫法應該用 “gerund”，如下 :
1.My friends enjoy drinking beer in that pub.
2.I suggest watching a film tonight.
而第三與第四句正好相反，應該用 “infinitive”，如下：
3.I promised my mother to work hard.
4.My teacher always helps me to correct my mistakes.
