提梁銅卣

卣﹕友(粵)﹔you (普)，為盛酒器，僅流行於商代至西周時期。銅卣呈長圓形，蓋隆起，頂部有菌形鈕。器表佈滿花紋，有渦紋、夔紋、雷紋、饕餮紋、連珠紋等裝飾，圈足上部還有四個鏤孔。此銅卣造型優美，紋飾富麗繁縟，工藝細膩精湛，為二里岡期青銅器中的精品。
The you is a wine vessel which was prevalent from the Shang to Western Zhou dynasties. This bronze vessel is long and round. There is a mushroom-shaped button on top of the protruding lid. The whole body of the vessel is covered with vortex, kui dragon, thunder, taotie and connected bead patterns. Furthermore, on the upper part of the ring foot there are four perforations. The elegant shape, complicated and magnificent patterns and delicate and exquisite craft, make this bronze you a gem of the bronzeware of the Erligang period.資料：香港歷史博物館
