「扶當十斤」平肩布

銅質。布幣形體狹長，平首，中部一有穿孔。布身一面鑄陽文篆書「扶當十斤」，另一面鑄「十」、「貨」。這布為楚國貨幣，形制既受三晉平首布的影響，而又具有地方的特色，既能與三晉布幣、刀幣，又能與本國的蟻鼻錢兌換。這布主要在楚國新拓展地區和邊境貿易中流通。
This coin is made of bronze. The spade-shaped coin has a long and narrow body and a flat head with a hole at the centre. One side of the body was cast with relief characters 「扶當十斤」 in seal script and the other side was cast with characters 「十」 and 「貨」. The coin was the currency of the Chu state. It was mainly circulated in the newly expanded area of the Chu state and for cross-border trade between the Chu and other states.
