¡@Collared Scops Owl
¡@Collared Scops Owls have big eyes, hooked bills and long powerful claws. They have dark brown markings on the forehead, some on the underparts, and brown eyes. Adults are about 23 cm long.
¡@Collared Scops Owls live in forests and prey on small animals like rats. They can be found around the year and are not shy of humans. But, because they come out at night, they are rarely seen by people. They breed from March to May, nesting in tree holes. They also use the artificial nest boxes installed in the Country Parks.
¡@Collsred Scops Owls make a soft¡§hoo-o¡¨call, about once every ten seconds.
