謙康錢莊徽章 Badge of the Chien Kong Bank
民國 (Republican period, 1912-1949)
錢莊是中國早期的信用機構，歷史悠久，僅乾隆年間上海錢莊就有106家之多。隨著西方銀行業的進入，錢莊的經營也受到金融業「西風東漸」的影響，錢莊的櫃面、記賬、存摺式樣乃至服裝配飾都有所改變。錢莊員工佩戴徽章亦是受西方影響。此為錢莊徽章，讓員工佩戴以示身份。
With their long history – there were already 106 native banks in Shanghai in the reign of Qianlong – native banks were the traditional credit institutions in China. However, when Western banks began to enter the market, their practices soon exerted an influence on the operations of the native banks, which quickly changed their counter layout, transaction records, deposit format and even the uniforms of their employees. The use of employee badges at native banks to identify staff was also the result of Western influences. 資料：香港歷史博物館
