．成年的白腹海鵰飛行時，可見牠們的頭、頸、腹部及尾部的羽毛為白色，飛羽黑色，十分易認。被拯救的兩隻幼鳥年約兩歲，由於尚未長成，身體白色的部分仍是褐色，隨著年齡增長，毛色會愈來愈淡。這種雀鳥活躍於近海山區，但亦會在水塘附近出沒。
White-bellied Sea Eagles.
．Adult White-bellied Sea Eagles are easy to identify especially when they are flying.The feathers of their head,neck,belly and tail are white-while their flight feathers are black.The two young birds rescued are about two years old,still with juvenile plumage.The white parts of adults are now brown in the juvenile stage.As they get older,plumage will become paler.White-bellied Sea Eagles are usually seen in coastal mountains,but they can also be found near reservoirs. ■資料：漁護署
