旺角彌敦道，約1953年
由登打士街向北望，左方為位於彌敦道、豉油街與砵蘭街交界，約落成於1939年的彌敦戲院，現時為新興大廈。右方的屋宇於1960年代改建為中僑國貨公司，現時為信和中心。
遠方最高的是邵氏大廈，內有一豪華的花都夜總會。
這荒𦴩的地段現已成為九龍最繁盛的黃金地段。

Looking north from Dundas Street, at the intersection of Nathan Road, Soy St. and Portland St., there was the Nathan Theatre which was rebuilt and became the Sun Hing building then. The houses(right) were rebuilt as the Chung Kiu Chinese Emporium Co. in 1960s, now it is the Sino Centre .
The tallest building in the distance was the Shaw's Building, within there was luxurious Paris Night Club .
