¡@Hung Hom, named after a Hung Hom Village of Kowloon. The bay in front is called Hung Hom Bay.
¡@In 1864, Whampoa Dock was founded and it provided many job vacancies. As a result, Hung Hom became a densely populated area.
¡@In 1898, Green Island Cement Co. moved to Hok Yuen, Hung Hom. In 1906, China Light and Power Co. began its branch here and developed quickly in the subsequent years.
