由德輔道中望向皇后大道中的鐘塔。
鐘塔落成於1862年，1913年才被拆卸。
左方為香港大酒店，前身為1866年倒閉的寶順行，現時是置地廣場和中建大廈。
右方是怡和洋行，現為會德豐大廈。其後方是第二代郵政總局和高等法院，現時則為畢打行及怡安華人行。

Looking at the Clock Tower of Queen's Road Central from Des Voeux Road Central.
The Clock Tower was completed in 1862 and demolished in 1913.
On the left is the Hongkong Hotel, where the Dent & Co. was situated and collapsed in 1866. Hongkong Hotel then became the Landmark and the Central Building .
The Jardine Matheson & Co. is on the right. Its back situated the second generation General Post Office and Supreme Court, where Pedder House and Aon China Building are located today. ■鄭寶鴻 香港歷史博物館名譽顧問
