喜歡在樹林和植物茂密的地方生活，分布雖廣，但數量不多。多於三至十二月間看見牠們在天空飛舞。牠們愛在小水窪及花間徘徊，如果多留意這些地方，可能會碰見牠們呢！
Chinese Peacock
Chinses Peacock is a large butterfly, with a wingspan of about 11 cm, Its body and wings are mainly black.The colours of the undersides of the wings are lighter, with tiny yellow—green dots. Near the edge of the hindwings there is a line of red and blue spots, and the hindwings have a pair of black tails.
Chinese Peacocks generally live inside forests and dense vegetation.They are easy to observe as they have a slow, heavy flight and frequently stop on flowers or at rain pools.Though widely distributed in Hong Kong, they are not common—and can only be seen from March to December. ■資料：漁護署
