左方為中環街市及域多利皇后街，亦可見第一代的寶生銀行。右方為與閣麟街交界的高陞茶樓。
高陞茶樓於同年稍後拆卸，1964年改建為大華國貨公司。於1990年再改為華潤百貨，現時則為新落成之皇后大道中100號新廈。這一帶是中環的購物區，辦館、燒臘店、茶葉莊林立。
Queen's Road Central,1962
Central Market, Po Sang Bank of the first generation and Queen Victoria Street were on the left . On the right was the Ko Shing Tea House which situated at the junction of Cochrane Street.
Ko Shing Tea House was demolished later. The Chinese Emporium Co. was built in 1964. And it changed to CRC Department Store in 1990.Today it is the new building of Queen's Road No.100.
There were many groceries, roasted and preserved meat shops and tea shops in this shopping area of Central District. ■鄭寶鴻 香港歷史博物館名譽顧問
