花香鳥語：馬纓丹

　那艷麗的花兒是整株植物最顯眼的地方，顏色有白、黃、橙、紅、粉紅、紫紅等等，四季都能看見它們一簇簇地生長著。葉片呈卵形，邊緣有鋸齒。摸一摸，原來兩面均有短硬的毛。

　你們有否試過輕輕地搓一搓它的葉片，然後嗅一嗅呢？你會發覺手指上沾滿了一陣刺鼻的氣味，就因為這個原因，馬纓丹又被稱為「臭花草」。

　馬纓丹是常見的野草，除了在郊野公園外，在住宅附近的公園，甚至馬路旁的小花圃，也能發現它們。但馬纓丹的莖部有尖銳的刺，而且全株是有毒的，所以切勿隨便觸摸！　■資料：漁護署

Lantana

　Lantana's bright coloured and beautiful flowers are the plant's most conspicuous part. They have a mixture of white, yellow, orange, red, pink and purple. Lantana flowers almost year round. The leaves are oval, with a toothed margin and short, hard hairs.

　If you rub Lantana leaves, your fingers will have a tangy smell. That is why, in chinese, Lantana is called "smelly herb".

　Lantana, a common weed, so you can find Lantana in the countryside, in parks,near residential areas, and even in roadside planters. However, Lantana has sharp thorns on its stems and the entire plant is poisonous. Therefore you should avoid touching them.
