花香鳥語：白頭鵯

•上身暗綠色，頭頂黑色，後頭有白斑（幼鳥則沒有），因此又名「白頭翁」。分布：全年也可看見牠們，而且在很多地方出沒，如：樹林、公園，甚至市區和住宅附近。

•3隻出世數日的雀BB，眼睛已經張開了，但長在身上的羽毛還是很少呢。雀媽媽為了餵蟲蟲給雀BB吃，一小時裡來回雀巢有20次之多啊！

•雀巢多建在灌木的枝幹上，呈杯狀，用枯枝和碎葉築成。巢內墊有細草和根鬚，讓雀BB有個舒適的「安樂窩」。

Chinese Bulbul

•The upperparts of Chinese Bulbuls are dark green.The crown is black with a striking white hindcrown (baby bird absent),giving the bird its Chinese name－－"White-headed Old man".In Hong Kong Chinese Bulbuls can be seen throughout the year.They are most common in woodlands,urban parks or gardens.

•Three baby birds,born a few days ago,have opened their eyes.They have some down but very few proper feathers.The mother bulbul is going back and forth endlessly,seeking food for her chicks.

•The nest,usually built on branches of shrubs or trees,is cup-shaped and made of dead branches and leaves.It is cushioned with thin grasses and fibrous roots ,to make it comfortable for the chicks.　■資料：漁護署
