正中可見位於與莊士敦道交界，落成於1936年的中華循道會教堂，曾於1990年代重建。
左方是有線廣播電台的「麗的呼聲」，該址現時為熙信大廈。該有線廣播到了1973年才停止。
右方為位於晏頓街旁被稱為「紅磚屋」的「海員及海軍之家」，落成於1930年代，於1990年代改建為酒店。燈柱後的樓宇現為大生商業大廈。

In the middle is the Chinese Methodist Church, completed in 1936 and rebuilt in 1990s.
To the left was the Rediffusion Cable Broadcast Station, and it has been replaced by Asian House .
The "Red Brick House"(right)was the "Sailors' and soldiers' Home". It was in the intersection of Anoton Street, which completed in 1930s, and rebuilt to Wesley Hotel in 1990s. The Houses behind the lamppole are now replaced by the Tai Sang Commercial Building . ■鄭寶鴻 香港歷史博物館名譽顧問
