這一段原名加冕道，是與荔枝角道及大埔道連接，於1910年代填海而獲得。
右方是麗聲戲院，其鄰有菜館的西式樓宇原是九龍汽車有限公司，兩者現時為始創中心。
正中是東樂戲院，於1970年代改建為「大大公司」，現時則為聯合廣場。
圖片的正中仍可見一交通指揮亭。

The original name of this section was Coronation Road, adjoins Tai Po Road and Lai Chi Kok Road. The road is reclaimed in 1910s.
To the right was the Royal Theatre. Its neighbour was the office of Kowloon Motor Bus Co. in 1930s. These two buildings rebuilt and became the Pioneer Centre later.
The Prince Theatre was in the middle, replaced by Da Da department store in 1970s, and became Allied Plaza in 1990s .
