金牌一套 Set of verification tokens
1950年代
試金石和對金牌是銀行、錢莊或銀樓用於鑒定黃金成色的一套工具。建國後，收兌黃金由中國人民銀行統一辦理。由銀行專業人員用對金牌核對試金石上的黃金痕跡，以檢驗所兌換的黃金成色。
Banks, native banks and silver banks used touchstones and verification tokens to examine the purity of gold. After 1949, the People's Bank of China became the sole agent for gold transactions. Professional officers at the bank continued to use these tools to evaluate the purity of the gold that was traded. ■資料：香港歷史博物館
