右方為洲際酒店,後易名為勝斯酒店,現為交易廣場的公爵大廈和文華酒店。
中間有樹處是與畢打街交界的郵政總局,1924年重建為華人行。

Looking west from Ice House Street.
The brown structure on the left housed the American Hotel and the Telephone Co., also the Oriental Bank in early 1880. The classical building next to the Duddell Street was the Chartered Bank in the 1870s. It was rebuilt to be the Bank of China in the 1920s.
On the right was the Continental Hotel and it became St Francis Hotel in the 1920s. Today, they are Landmark Gloucester Tower and Mandarin Hotel.
The location with tree was the General Post Office, and it changed to the China Building in 1924.
