別名紅熊貓或火狐。小熊貓體形肥胖，體長40至60厘米，體重約6公斤。小熊貓棲息於海拔3,000米以下的針闊混交林或常綠闊葉林，身手敏捷，白天大部分時間在樹上休息，晚上覓食，以果實、根、筍、昆蟲等為主要食糧。
Also known as Firefox, the Red Panda has a stout body that measures 40 to 60 cm in length and weighs about 6 kg. The Red Panda is found mainly in mixed forests of coniferous and broad-leaved trees as well as in broad-leaved evergreen forests at an altitude below 3,000 m. They are agile animals resting on the trees in most of the day time and increasing their activities at night. They feed mainly on fruits, roots, bamboo shoots and insects.
