大熊貓是中國的國寶及特有的物種，有獨特的白色圓臉、黑色耳朵和眼圈，樣子惹人喜愛。牠們喜歡獨居，幾乎只吃竹子。牠們晝夜兼行，平均壽命約為15歲。
The Giant Panda is endemic to China and is regarded as a national treasure. It has a distinctively round, white face with black ears and black markings around its eyes. These solitary animals eat almost nothing but bamboo. They roam the forests in both day and night and their average life expectancy is about 15 years. ■資料：香港科學館
