一字多義之一
對於普遍考生而言，學習英文最難之處，在於很多詞語都是一字多義。舉例說address，同學會立即想到「地址」這個解釋。但當address不是一個名詞，而是用作動詞時，就有「關注」、「致辭」、「稱呼」的意思。例如 "Let's address this problem."（讓我們一起關注這個問題。）、"address a meeting"（在會議中致辭）、"address Richard Brandson as Sir"（稱呼Richard Brandson為Sir）。
現舉一些common examples，讓大家認清更多詞語的一字多義，不再一頭霧水(見圖)。
