上回說到威爾跟父親說故事，把父親一生所描述的所有的故事、故事中所有的人物都放進去，今期就繼續說這個故事。
父親故事中的所有人物群集於小鎮，就是那個被父親拯救賦予意義的小鎮，有安妮、有巫婆的小鎮，威爾抱着父親到小鎮湖畔，將父親的鞋掛到高空，因為父親將永遠不需要用到了（In the story, Bill held his dad to the lakeside of the town, he threw the shoes of his dad up high as his dad would never need them），所有故事中的人都只有歡樂，沒有眼淚與憂愁，向父親作最後的送行（Everyone was saying goodbye to his dad in a joyful manner. There are no tears and sadness）。
母親站在湖中，含笑送別父親。父親對母親說：「你是我的水中美人（You are my beauty in the water）。」然後，威爾將父親浸入水裡，突然，父親變成了一條大魚，快樂地游向水深之處。
威爾說：「你變成原來的你（You have become who you always are）。」雖然父親死了，但卻以另一種方式繼續充滿生命力地活着，這條大魚是永遠不會被抓到的（Although he was dead, he was living in another life form, full of energy as if this big fish would never ever be caught）。
父親在威爾的故事中安詳瞑目（His father rested in peace in Will's story）。父親知道，威爾終於了解了心靈最深處的他（His dad knew Bill understands the soul deep inside of him）。兩父子冰釋前嫌，關係修和，大團圓結局（Father and son cleared their misunderstanding. Their relationship has been rebuilt. It was yet another happy and touching ending）。
世上有哪一對父子無試過有過節、衝突？這套電影正好告訴我們，只要大家放下己見，從對方的角度思考，定必能把之前的誤解解開。
