玉龍 Jade dragon
新石器時代 Neolithic period (Ca. 10,000 - 4,000 years ago)

玉龍首尾相連，灰白泛青，表面琢磨光滑。器形呈扁橢圓形。龍吻部凸出，頭頂雕刻兩角，玉龍兩面雕刻圖案基本相同。龍是中華文明的象徵，其他新石器時期遺址亦曾出土過玉龍，但形態各異，說明它們源自不同考古學文化譜系，有獨特的演化過程。
The jade dragon is off-white bluish in colour with a smooth and shiny surface. Flat and oval in shape, the head and the tail of the dragon join. The lips of the dragon are prominent and two horns are carved on its head. Both sides of the jade dragon are basically carved in the same manner. The dragon is a symbol of Chinese civilisation. The jade dragons unearthed from other Neolithic sites in China have proved that the Chinese dragon has its prototype from different cultural systems in China. 資料：香港歷史博物館
