Pottinger St.(Stone Slab St.), C.1950
¡@It was named after the first governor, Henry Pottinger(1841-1844).
¡@It was constructed in 1840s, from Queen's Road Central to Hollywood Road, and stretched to Connaught Road Central after the completion of Central and Western Districts' reclamation, which began in 1889.
¡@Under the stone steps in the middle of this photo is an underground toilet which was built in 1913. A "chimmey" of ventilation can also be seen.
¡@Yung Kee Restaurant was removed to here from Wan Chai in 1945 after the Second World War, and removed again to Wellington St. in 1965.¡@¡½¾GÄ_ÂE¡@»´ä¾ú¥v³Õª«À]ºaÅAÅU°Ý
