At the back of the Oriental Printing Co. is Pottinger Street. The four-storey building has become today's Hong Kong Chinese Bank Building.
On the right, the three-storey buildings were rebuilt to the first generation of the Man Yee Building in 1957. It was the place where Hong Kong's first elevator was built.
The building with a sharp tower on its top was the Jardine House. It was rebuilt to the Wheelock house. The red three-storey building on its left was the Bank of Canton. It was rebuilt to today's China Construction Bank(Asia). ■鄭寶鴻 香港歷史博物館榮譽顧問
