去年9月美國網球公開賽女子決賽，美國一姐莎蓮娜威廉絲對日本的大坂直美，其間威廉絲不滿球證判決，怒斥球證種族歧視，是騙子。澳洲報章刊登了漫畫家諷刺威廉絲行為的漫畫，畫中黑人女子球員跳彈起，旁邊是破爛了的網球拍和嬰兒用的橡膠奶嘴。
漫畫引起廣泛注意，被批評為有性別和種族歧視。
漫畫中的橡膠奶嘴是什麼意思？原來出自澳洲常用俚語spitting the dummy。短語 spit the dummy在澳洲較為常用，當中的spit動詞，是「吐出」的意思，而dummy是哄嬰兒用的橡膠奶嘴，亦可稱為pacifier或soother，是用來安撫嬰兒，令他們安靜、停止哭鬧。有時候嬰兒會不明所以的發脾氣，把橡膠奶嘴吐出，大聲叫喊，哭哭啼啼。
而短語「吐出橡膠奶嘴」spit (out) the dummy是借用了這種嬰孩壞脾氣、不受控的形象，比喻一些人在突發情形下，反應過激，亂發脾氣，發狂，亦暗示這些人行為幼稚，沒有成年人應有的成熟處事態度。
