（續4月16日期）在電影《大魚奇緣》中，父親的故事原來能圓滿他生命中的遺憾。他也透過故事詮釋生命，陳述事實總是言語平淡的，而說故事，容許很多新的詮釋（Stories have helped his dad to overcome the regrets in life. His dad can use stories to reinterpret life because narrating is always straight forward but stories allow new interpretations）。
故事是父親心靈的呈現，是父親對生命的寓言（Stories are reflections of his father's spirit and it is his interpretation of life through telling a fable），因此故事中的父親，仍舊是真實的，父親沒有說謊，是他兒子未到時候聽懂父親的故事而已（Therefore, his dad in the stories is still real and he is not lying. It is just that his son has not reached the right timing to understand his dad's stories）。
父親臨終，威爾想通了，第一次跟父親說了一個關於自己父親如何終結生命的故事（Towards the end of his father's life, Will realised what he should do. For the first time in his life he told his dad a story about how his dad ends his lfie），那是他幻想的、送給父親的故事（It was only his fantasy but it was dedicated to his dad）。這時，他才發現自己完全遺傳了父親創造故事和說故事的能力（At that very moment, he started to realise he has inherited the ability of creating stories and storytelling from his father），再賦予充滿積極樂觀盼望的詮釋，笑中帶淚，非常感人。儘管兒子曾抗拒父親的精彩故事，但他真的完全記住了父親曾說過的所有故事（In spite of the fact that he has always rejected his father's amazing stories, he actually remembered all the stories his father told him in the past）。
威爾的故事說得極好，最重要的是，他把父親一生所描述的所有的故事和人物都放進去，他們群集於小鎮，就是那個被父親拯救賦予意義的小鎮，有安妮、有巫婆的小鎮，現在，這小鎮出現第三個版本，竟然是由威爾創造的。至於故事中有什麼，就留待下期再續。
