圖左為半島酒店及馬哥孛羅酒店，隔鄰是瑞典百貨公司。
圖右是落成於1973年、曾設中華酒樓夜總會的喜來登酒店。這地段曾舉辦近10屆工展會。
中間道旁邊是國賓酒店及帝國酒店；帝國酒店的右鄰是別名為「小聯合國」的重慶大廈。

On the left of the photo, there are the Peninsula Hotel and Marco Polo Hotel which exist until now. Their neighbour was the Shui Hing Department Store.
On the right, there is the Sheraton Hotel where the Chinese Restaurant and Night Club was opened inside. The Hong Kong Brands and Products Expo was held in this area before the hotel was built.
Besides Middle Road, there were the Ambassador Hotel and Imperial Hotel. The building next to the Imperial Hotel is the Chung Hing Building which is called the "mini united nations". ■鄭寶鴻 香港歷史博物館榮譽顧問
