位於跑馬地黃泥涌道與禮頓山道交界，以一間在1840年代於該處開設的禮頓洋行而命名。
1930年代，政府在山上興建公務員宿舍，而保良局亦同時遷至附近。
1941年12月日軍侵略香港時，禮頓山為激烈的戰場。淪陷期間，曾建一日式的「妙法寺」，於和平後被拆除。公務員宿舍現時已被改建為高尚住宅。
禮頓山道於1950年代被易名為禮頓道。
Leighton Hill, c.1950
It is situated between Wong Nai Chung and Leighton Hill Roads, named after a Leighton company which was established there in the 1840s.
In the 1930s, the Government constructed the Leighton Hill civil servants' residences and Po Leung Kuk also moved to the vicinity.
When the Japanese invaded Hong Kong on December, 1941, Leighton Hill was a fierce battleground. A Japanese Myoho Temple was built on the hill, but demolished after 1945.
Today, the civil servants' residences have been replaced by a high-class resident blocks.
The name of Leighton Hill Road was changed to Leighton Road in the 1950s. ■鄭寶鴻 香港歷史博物館名譽顧問
