西式纏足鞋 Western-style shoes for bound feet

雖然纏足的陋習在20世紀初已逐漸廢除，但早在清末前被迫束腳的婦女，由於腳部已定型，有需要穿着三寸金蓮的纏足鞋，所以這類皮製小鞋在民初仍有銷路。
The practice of foot binding was abolished in the early 20th Century, but the women who were forced to bind their feet before the demise of the Qing Dynasty had to live with their disfigured feet for the rest of their lives. They had to wear custom-made bound-foot-shoes and these small shoes were still sold during the early Republican Period. ■資料：香港歷史博物館
