有英女皇加冕裝飾的是龍子行及龍光行百貨公司。位於昭隆街口的是商務印書館。其東鄰是勝利藥房，原址現為萬邦行。
最高的建築物是落成於1924年的第一代華人行。
圖右的樓宇群包括陸佑行、安樂園飲冰室、三聯書店發行所及中華書局；現時為新陸佑行、萬年大廈及興瑋大廈。

The buildings with the decoration of the coronation picture of Queen Elizabeth were the Lung Kwong and Dragon Seed Department Stores. At the entrance of Chiu Lung Street was the Commercial Press. The Victory Dispensary is today's Melbourne Building.
The tallest building was the first generation of the China Building which was completed in 1924.
Houses on the right were the Loke Yew Building, On Lok Yuen Cafe, Joint Publishing HK Co. and Chung Hwa Book Co. They were rebuilt to today's New Loke Yew, Man Lin and Hing Wai Buildings. ■鄭寶鴻 香港歷史博物館榮譽顧問
