This cartoon uses the double meaning of the word "fan". A fan can be a machine that moves air around to make it less hot, or can be someone who likes something a lot and follows it, (in this case, football). Something cool can be something that is popular or something with a low temperature. The two men confuse these different meanings.
Cool可以指「風涼的」或「受歡迎的」，fan又可以指「球迷」或「風扇」，兩位仁兄大玩文字遊戲。
