Garden Road, C.1920

¡@It was named after the Hong Kong Botanical Garden which was opened in 1864. Its old name was "Parade Ground Road". "Murray Parade Ground" is the site where today's Cheung Kong Centre is located.

¡@On the left is the building of Helena May which was built in 1910s and it exists until nowadays. The U.S.A Consulate was moved to the right side from the HSBC in 1950s.

¡@Today, Garden Road has changed to a main road passing to and fro between Central and Mid-levels.
