灣仔(約1900年)
左下方的域多利軍營現時是太古廣場。軍營右方的軍器廠於1950年代改建為警察總部。
正中4間有金字形屋頂的建築是名為「藍屋」的海軍食堂。它位於軒尼詩道與晏頓街交界。
右中位置可見「海旁東馬路」,它於1930年灣仔填海工程完成後,易名為莊士敦道及軒尼詩道。
被畫上「x」的尖角是今日城市花園所在,也是北角名稱的由來。
Wan Chai, C.1900
On the left of the bottom part of the picture, there was the Victoria Barrack, where the Pacific Place is situated nowadays. On its right was the Arsenal which was rebuilt to the Police Headquarter in 1950s.
Four houses with triangular roof tops were the naval canteen named as "Blue Buildings", it was situated at the corner of Hennessy Road and Anton Street.
In the middle right was the Praya East. Its name was changed to Johnston Road and Hennessy Road after the completion of the Wan Chai reclamation construction in 1930.
The strait point with "x" at the back is where today's City Garden is located. That is why North Point was named.
