"I think AlphaGo's level of expertise is still manageable by human and I regret the game is over. AlphaGo never had psychological fluctuation and was highly focused, which are some of its invincible advantages when competing with human players. I've spent quite a lot of time getting adapted to its style," Lee reflected.
Demis Hassabis, chief executive officer of the Google's company DeepMind which created AlphaGo, deemed the five-match series historic. Lee took home US$170,000 (approximately HK$1,320,000) for participating and winning one match.
