■港隊代表李慧詩在里約奥運凱林賽被撞跌，失去爭標希望。 資料圖片幾周前奧運曲終人散，有人說奥運精神是友誼第一，比賽第二，那是錯的。奧運官方格言（motto）是更快、更高、更強（faster, higher, stronger），那隱含了比賽要在公平競爭下（level playing field）進行，才有真正受到尊重的賽果，方不會出現有水分的快、高及強。可惜在這屆奧運，有兩個競速項目出現意外，卻出現不同的待遇。

Popular Australian track cyclist Anna Meares has won a bronze medal in the Keirin final at the Rio Olympics.
......Meares earlier won her heat and got safely into the final despite colliding with Hong Kong cyclist Lee Wai-sze with the Chinese athlete crashing out.
赫赫有名的澳洲埸地單車手安娜．美雅絲在里約奥運凱林賽決賽奪得銅牌。美雅絲在較早前的預賽勝出，並安然地進入決賽，雖然她曾與香港單車手李慧詩相撞，而這華人運動員卻被摔走。
It may not have been gold but Meares couldn't have been happier as her goal was to get any kind of medal in a notoriously tough event.
'You can't go out there for a cup of tea and biscuits. It was rough and tumble, so many crashes and it can go either way. It was so close on the line,'she said.
或許這不是金牌，但美雅絲已經高興至極，因為她的目標是在該項目中，獲得一面獎牌，無論是任何顏色。
她說︰「你不是走出去，叫件餅食，叫杯茶飲，那是大混戰，已發生太多衝撞了，而結果可以是雙向的，（即是撞倒別人，或被別人撞倒），那是緊貼在同在一線上。」
