■奇洛李維斯是少數慷慨的荷里活明星。圖為他在《廿二世紀殺人網絡》的劇照。 網上圖片大家都不會對荷里活影星奇洛李維斯（Keanu Reeves）感到陌生。對，他就是在《廿二世紀殺人網絡》 (The Matrix）中飾演主角Neo的影星。他出名，是位知名的影星，大家都會認同，但在荷里活，跟他知名度相若的影星有很多，而跟他一樣這麼慷慨（generous）的，並無其他人了吧。
有心有力 「錢是我最後去想的事」
簡單點說（simply put/ to put it simply），我們可以叫他為其中一位偉大的知名慈善家，也不為過（it would be no exaggeration for us to say that he is one of the greatest celebrity philanthropists）。好多明星都是「講就天下無敵，做就有心無力」，但奇洛李維斯卻是少數言行一致的人（a guy who walks his talk)。他是那種會真正實踐「我為人人，人人為我」這種很多人以為已過時的理念的人：He is a guy who really practices being "excellent to each other", a concept many people nowadays regard as outdated.
在2003年，他告訴美國Hello!雜誌：「錢是我最後去想的事。我現在已經有足夠的財富去活多幾個世紀。」 （ Money is the last thing I think about. I could live on what I have already made for the next few centuries.）
可能你會說，奇洛李維斯的片酬動不動就是一億美元（100 million US dollars)， 他根本就用不完，當然可以闊綽。可是，話說回頭，有很多超級有錢的明星，是一蚊都不願意捐給別人的。
主動減片酬 讓監製請更多人
例如， 他在拍攝《追魂交易》（The Devil's Advocate）時，就同意減酬，為了讓監製可以請得起阿爾柏仙奴（When making The Devil's Advocate, Reeves agreed to take a big pay cut so the producers could also afford to bring on Al Pacino）。
在拍攝《後備天王》（The Replacements）時，Keanu更主動說要減酬-足足減了90%，讓監製們可以把另一影星Gene Hackman帶到劇裡（When making The Replacements, Keanu allows producers to bring on board Gene Hackman by demanding less cash up front for himself. He actually took a 90% paycut）。通常我們只會聽到演員要求加人工，鮮有自己主動要求減的新聞。■岑皓軒 騎呢領隊
