碼頭頂端有一慶祝英女皇伊利沙伯二世加冕的皇冠裝飾。
落成於1933年的統一碼頭，是供旺角、深水埗、離島、新界及前往油麻地的汽車渡海小輪碇泊。
碼頭前方為中環巴士總站，1960年代起分別移往交易廣場及上環。
1994年，碼頭被拆卸並進行填海，新填地上興建了中環機鐵站和四季酒店。
United Pier, 1953
The crown lying upon the pier was the decoration for celebrating the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in this year.
The United Pier was operated in 1933, providing berths for the ferries to Mongkok, Sham Shui Po, outlying islands and vehicular ferries to Yau Ma Tei.
In front of the pier was the Central Bus Terminus which has moved to the Exchange Square and Sheung Wan individually since the 1960s.
The United Pier was demolished in 1994 for reclamation. The Airport Railway Station and the Four Seasons Hotel were built on the reclaimed land. ■鄭寶鴻 香港歷史博物館名譽顧問
