（續3月5日期）在《大魚奇緣》這部電影中，主角思考父親所說的故事，從中了解父親是一個怎樣的人，而這一切，就由游泳池開始。
父親這一生都熱愛游泳，他精彩的故事中總是有水和那條大魚（all his amazing stories were related to the water and the big fish）。所以即使父親病重，仍希望游泳池是完好無缺的。在清洗游泳池間，他不斷思考父親的話，彷彿被父親點醒了（He suddenly felt enlightened during the time he cleaned his dad's swimming pool）。他開始轉換角色，試圖從父親角度來思考（He started to put himself in his dad's shoes and think in his perspective）。總之，他站在游泳池旁，有一瞬間，他看到了那條父親故事中的大魚，卻隨即消失（At one point, he saw the big fish in his dad's story but it disappeared almost immediately）。
這使威爾決定花時間從父親的立場角度來認識父親。有兩個人幫助了他。一個是住在小鎮的安妮，另一個是跟他們有幾十年友誼的家庭醫師（There are two persons who helped him to understand his dad: one is Annie who lived in a small town, the other one is their family doctor who has been a friend with them for a few decades）。威爾問安妮，他父親到底是怎樣的人。其實，威爾想知道，父親經常往別處跑，究竟在外面有沒有婚外情？因為他總是覺得父親愛他別處的生活遠勝過愛自己的妻子和兒子？（He wanted to know if his dad had an affair because he thought his dad loved his life elsewhere more than his own wife and his kid ）
安妮佐證了父親故事中部分的真實性，安妮告訴威爾，人人都愛他的父親，因為他帶給人希望與歡樂（he brought people hope and joy），最後，讓威爾大大意外的，安妮說自己不只是小鎮故事中的安妮，還是父親故事中的女巫（witch）。下回再續這兩位人物如何幫助男主角威爾重新認識父親。
