文伯仁(繪畫)、文彭(書法)Wen Boren (painting), Wen Peng (calligraphy)
文伯仁(1502–1575),長洲(今江蘇蘇州)人。為文徵明(1470–1559)的侄兒。擅長繪山水、人物。山水畫參考元代王蒙(約1308–1385)意趣,筆墨細勁縝密。
文彭(1498–1573),江蘇蘇州人,為文徵明(1470–1559)長子。書法出入鍾繇(151–230)、王羲之(303–361)及懷素(725–785)等。工篆刻,以六書為法度。精鑑賞,項元汴(1525–1590)購藏名品每請其過目。
Wen Boren(1502–1575), a native of Suzhou, Jiangsu province, was a nephew of Wen Zhengming(1470–1559). He specialised in landscape painting, and his style had a hint of Wang Meng(ca.1308–1385) of the Yuan period. His brushstrokes were fine, dense, strong and meticulous.
Wen Peng(1498–1573), a native of Jiangsu province, was the eldest son of Wen Zhengming(1470–1559). He was influenced by the calligraphy of Zhong Yao(151–230), Wang Xizhi(303–361) and Huaisu(725–785). Wen was renowned for his seal carving which was modeled after by later generations. He was also famous for his connoisseurship and most of the works in the collection of Xiang Yuanbian(1525–1590) were authenticated by him. ■資料:香港藝術館
