¦]¦¹¥þ¬q¥i^Ķ¦p¤U¡GRecently Taiwan was involved in a shoddy lard incident. Some of the dubious lard has flowed into Hong Kong, and over 600 local businesses have purchased related goods. A survey conducted by Chinese University's Institute of Asia-Pacific Studies shows that over 90% of the respondents thought they had eaten food that contained shoddy lard, of which over 40% were worried that their health would be affected. But over half of those interviewed still had confidence in Hong Kong's food safety, while 90% supported that cooking oil should be regulated by law.¡½MT Ness
