1960年代初在美國生活的李小龍，希望透過文字把中國功夫文化介紹到西方。這本《基本中國拳法》是李小龍唯一一部在世時完成並出版的著作，表達他早年的武術哲學和觀點。
Chinese Gung Fu: The Philosophical Art of Self-Defense (First Edition)，1963
Bruce Lee, who lived in the US in the early 1960s, hoped to introduce the culture of Chinese kung fu to the West through his writing. The book Chinese Gung Fu: The Philosophical Art of Self-Defense is the only work by Bruce that was completed and published during his lifetime. In it, he discusses his beliefs and views about martial arts.
