She was such a butterfingers. She dropped all the plates on the floor.
You shouldn't ask him to do the washing up. You know what a butterfingers he is.
The butterfingered secretary can't really help much in the office.
All thumbs:
另一句短語all fingers and thumbs或all thumbs,同屬形容詞,用來形容一個人笨拙。
She is not good at cooking. She is all fingers and thumbs in the kitchen.
He was very nervous and was all thumbs during the test.
Some of the workers are not very skillful and are ham-fisted with the new machines.
He looked worried and was ham-handed in the match.
Ham-handed:
The ham-handed response of the administration resulted in more dissatisfaction.
He is always criticized for his ham-fisted way of dealing with the media.
