中國第一艘航空母艦「遼寧艦」交接入列後，順利進行了殲-15艦載機起降飛行訓練，顯示航母平台與戰機配合良好，達到設計指標要求。艦載機起降飛行屬於航母訓練中最具挑戰性及難度的任務，「遼寧艦」順利完成戰機升降，不但標誌著中國航母最終形成戰鬥力邁出重要一步，而且彰顯中國海軍綜合戰鬥力的提升。十八大報告首度將建設海洋強國提升至國家發展戰略高度，航母計劃的穩步發展將為中國建設海洋強國、維護國家海洋權益的戰略目標提供強力支撐和保障。同時，中國致力構建「和諧海洋」，中國航母也將成為捍衛亞太地區和平穩定的中堅力量。
中國航母的發展不但不會對鄰近地區造成威脅，反而是維護區內和平穩定的重要力量。過去中國海軍已多次進行國際人道救援和反海盜行動，受到國際社會積極評價。針對近年世界發生的種種海上突發事件，中國航母將可執行更多人道主義救援行動，在履行國際主義責任和義務上作出更大貢獻，對周邊地區和世界和平發揮負責任大國作用。
Successful take-off and landing of carrier-borne fighter jets marks a new milestone in the aircraft carrier development of China
The take-off and landing training of J-15 carrier-borne fighter jets was successfully completed after the first Chinese aircraft carrier Liaoning was delivered and commissioned to the navy. This shows that the carrier platform is fully compatible with the fighter jets and designated requirements are satisfied. Take-off and landing exercise of carrier-borne aircraft is the most challenging and difficult task in aircraft carrier training. The successful completion of fighter jet take-off and landing on Liaoning not only signifies a major step towards the ultimate formation of combat power of Chinese aircraft carriers but also demonstrates the enhancement of the general combat power of the Chinese navy. In the report of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (NCCPC), the building of an ocean superpower has been raised for the first time to the level of national development strategy. The steady development of aircraft carrier programme will provide a strong support and guarantee to China掇 strategic goal of building an ocean superpower and protecting the maritime interests of the country. Besides, China is committed to creating a 浵armonious ocean* and Chinese aircraft carriers will be a central force in safeguarding peace and stability in the Asia Pacific region.
The development of aircraft carriers in China will pose no threat to its neighbours; on the contrary it will form a crucial force in maintaining peace and stability in the region. The Chinese navy had in the past completed a number of international humanitarian rescue and anti-pirate missions, and was positively acclaimed by the international community. In light of the various emergency incidents that have taken place at sea in recent years, China掇 aircraft carrier will undertake more humanitarian rescue tasks.
