五層彩繪陶倉樓，東漢 Five-storey Painted Pottery Granary House, Eastern Han

這件彩繪陶倉樓由院落、倉體、五層樓體組成，各部件可以拆卸組合。其正面有門洞、窗戶，在門窗、廻廊周圍雕刻出各種幾何圖案。這類房舍模型屬「建築明器」，用作墓葬中的隨葬品。

This painted pottery granary house comprises a courtyard, the main granary, and a five-storey house. Each part can be removed. There are door openings and windows in the front of the house. Various geometric designs were also carved on the doors, windows and around the corridors. Such building models were funerary architectural objects that were buried with the deceased.■資料提供︰香港歷史博物館
