Greek calends
You can't get blood out of a stone. He will donate money at the Greek calends.
Perhaps they will get married on the Greek calends.
He made all sorts of promises but kept them on the Greek calends.
Greek gift
第二個是與羅馬史詩有關的Greek gift(希臘人送的禮物)。
He managed to get a loan to start his business, but the loan turned out to be a Greek gift. The business did not run well and he was deep in debts.
The bonus may be a Greek gift. There are additional conditions. Be careful and don't get too excited.
It's too good to be true. These offers made by our opponents have to be a Greek gift.
