（續1月10日期）除了演戲，Ewan McGregor的最大興趣就是電單車。原來他擁有約15部歷史悠久、在1929年製成的古董電單車。雖然陳舊，但是他可以站在這些古董電單車旁，看着它們一整天也不會厭。他這樣講述他對電單車的沉迷（obsession on motorcycles）： 「I've got some lovely, lovely old motorcycles that date back to 1929. There's about 15 of them, and I'd be quite happy to just stand and look at them all day.」有些人遇到壓力，需要做冥想去得到安靜（Some people need to get the peace of mind by meditation when they face stress），而Ewan的方法竟然是靠騎電單車：「I love to ride them, of course. It's like meditation for me.」
說起電單車，有一次駕電單車去Tunisia，看一些舊星球大戰的場景，誰不知連那兒的星球大戰粉絲都認不出他。他說︰「We went down there and I didn't get recognized by anybody. I was wearing a Long Way Down t-shirt with 'McGregor' on the back, not one person recognized me. I found a poster of myself and I stood next to it, not one person.」（我們去到那兒，沒有人認得我。我穿着「a Long Way Down」的T恤，後面更印有「McGregor」，沒人認得我。我找到一張自己的海報，站在旁邊，還是沒人認得出我來。）當你以為堂堂一個大明星不被人認得很沒面子時，對他來說卻是擁有真正自由的時刻，原來可以在一個不被認識的國度做沒人注意的普通人，是最幸福的事。
Ewan本身也是一個由蘇格蘭隻身去荷里活闖蕩的成功例子，所以他十分鼓勵年輕人出去闖，去探索這個世界，看看世界的其他地方，嘗試欣賞和自己生活習慣不一樣的人，所以他這樣說：「I think if you can encourage people to do something, it is to go out and explore the world and see parts of the world, and appreciate that people's lives are very different from ours, then I think that is a good thing to do.」
每個人都在尋找快樂，Ewan直言他是個樂觀主義者，而且他經常都是這樣 。或者人就是這樣，happy goes lucky，如果你是一個開心人，就很容易在生活中找到快樂。大家不妨學習Ewan的positive affirmation：「 I'm quite a happy person. I can find joy in lots of things. I am happy. I don't have to look for it. I don't have to do things to encourage my sense of optimism. I have it anyway.」快樂不用尋找，因為你生來已經擁有。■馬漪楠
