圖說香江：第一代大會堂，約1915年

　它位於皇后大道中與寶靈海旁（德輔道中交界），落成於1869年。

　內有博物館、圖書館及戲院，偶爾，議政局（行政會議）、定例局（立法會）的會議亦在此舉行。

　1933年，大會堂被拆卸，部分售予匯豐銀行供該行擴建第三代總行大廈，於1935年落成。

　餘下部分於1947年公開拍賣，為中國銀行投得，於1951年建成當年最高的總行大廈。

The first City Hall of Hong Kong, c. 1915

　It was at the intersection of Queen's Road Central and Bowring Praya (Des Voeux Road Central), completed in 1869.

　It contained a museum, a library, a theatre and some assembly rooms. Sometimes, the Executive and Legislative Councils held the conferences there.

　The building was demolished in 1933. It was partly sold to the HSBC to build its 3rd generation headquarters (completed in 1935). The other part was in aution and acquired by
